This role was to assist in the M&E information management of various areas on the project along with the closing out of the whole project

Founded in 1980 as Carter (Mechanical) Services Limited the company grew steadily to become a respected practice offering a wide range of services. Much of this growth has been achieved during difficult times for the construction industry.

The services provided by the company encompass most aspect of project engineering within the industry, but with particular emphasis on all areas of building services, primarily mechanical, electrical, public health, control systems and the information management there of etc. The company particularly specialises in site management of services installations and multi-service co-ordination of all works.

In 1996, the Directors felt that the company name was not descriptive of the specialist design information management and co-ordination services offered. Therefore, in August 1996 the company name was changed to Project Co-ordination Limited to signify a clearer identity. This name change was part of a wider long term strategy, which was to offer a specialised service to customers in the ever-changing climate of the construction industry.

By choice, the company has remained small so that it gives individual attention to clients, but retains sufficient experienced engineers and managers to resource projects with tight timescale's and critical milestones. In addition to the in-house resources the company also has a number of senior managers, engineers, co-ordinators and designers who give the company the benefit of their experience and knowledge as associates.

As part of the company's development strategy a subsidiary company was established in 1998. This company is S.E.A Project Co-ordination Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Through this company, which has already provided design information management and co-ordination and advisory services on major projects in Asia Pacific, it is intended to promote and provide the company's specialist services into that market.
